Rumor: The Fiend Will Not Wrestle At WWE TLC Against The Miz 1
courtesy WWE

If the ongoing rumors are any indications then we may not see The Fiend wrestling at WWE TLC pay-per-view 2019 edition. He will be competing at the Sunday night event but it should be Bray Wyatt who may show up instead of the demonic character.

So there won’t be any change on the match card as the prime title on the SmackDown brand will be defended on the show.

Sasha Banks Continues To Mention Lacey Evans’ Daughter On Twitter

WWE announced on this past episode of SmackDown that The Miz vs. Bray Wyatt will take place at TLC 2019. Originally the lineup should have featured Daniel Bryan as the challenger.

Jeff Hardy Seeking Treatment For Personal Problems

But WWE replaced her with The Miz and also it was indicated that it will be a non-title match. Plus, Wyatt himself indicated to be wrestling as himself, and not as The Fiend.

The storyline evolved as Bray Wyatt who took shots at The Miz who was not happy to see him speaking on behalf of Daniel Bryan. So he showed a picture featuring Maryse and her two daughters to make the latter one irate. Soon, Wyatt also pounced on The Miz and dropped him with a Sister Abigail.

Since The Fiend was nowhere to be found, it was noted in a carried report by the WWE wrestlingINC.com that he will not be seen at WWE TLC,

“It was originally believed that Daniel Bryan may challenge Wyatt at TLC, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported earlier today that WWE may hold off on Bryan vs. Wyatt to let the storyline play out, and do Miz vs. Wyatt at the pay-per-view instead. It looks like that is the direction that they are going in.”

Potential Marquee Matches For WWE TLC 2019 Pay-Per-View

This would be the first time that Bray Wyatt will be wrestling under his own name and character instead of The Fiend. Being the Universal Champion on SmackDown and also the number one merchandise seller in the WWE. So his presence could have made a big difference.

But unfortunately, that won’t be the case as The Fiend may have gone to a hiatus and will not return until Royal Rumble.
