Tough Enough
In October, 2004, Mizanin entered the Tough Enough competition of WWE. It was the fourth season of the competition and it can also be considered the most famous of them all. Mizanin came out second in the competition, next to Daniel Puder who later became a famous mixed martial artist. Another participant of the tournament was Ryan Reeves who later became Ryback.
Non Wrestling Roles
After coming up runner up in the competition, Mizanin started working as a non wrestling personnel in WWE. She became the host of the WWE Diva Search competition of 2006 and while introducing them in front of the audience, he cut one of the worst promos in the history of professional wrestling.
This promo of Mizanin from July 2006 is considered one of the worst promos in WWE history. Mizanin later explained how embarrassing and difficult it was for him that day. Nobody ever expected that this man would become one of the best talkers in professional wrestling history. In September, 2006, Mizanin made his in ring debut against wrestling legend Tatanka. He started working as a heel in WWE. He was given a huge boost by handing a victory over Tatanka but after that moment on the mic, the fans were not much hopeful about him. But Mizanin slowly started to prove all of his critics wrong as he kept on succeeding. In 2010 WWE introduced the Money in the Bank pay per view event. They arranged two different Money in the Bank ladder matches, one for SmackDown and the other one for RAW. Kane won the version of Smackdown and Mizanin got the opportunity to grab the briefcase exclusive for Monday Night RAW. It was a huge accomplishment for him.
