We have reported it earlier that Randy Orton has openly started campaigning about getting a Wrestlemania match against The Rock. The next edition of ‘the biggest event of the year’ will take place in the latter one’s home state that has fuelled up the rumors of his involvement. The general belief is that for the first time in six years we may see The Great One back in action at Wrestlemania. The Viper wanted to be the first in line to challenge him.

Why Didn’t The Undertaker Appear On Smackdown 20th Anniversary?

The Apex Predator of the WWE directly challenged The Rock in a match in his first tweet. The second tweet was directed towards John Cena who had a huge Wrestlemania history with Rock. Hence he requested Cena whether he can arrange something for him. Now it looks like The seven-time WWE Champion has finally noticed the pledge and decided to give a reply which is as follows,

“U think Bob O Sr & Chief Maivia along with our pops’ Bob Jr & the Soulman ran up and down those roads for decades taking bumps just so we can sell out WM36 so you can RKO my ass thru the earth. My body’s still recovering from that Evolution beatdown you gave me at WM20.”

The Rock Returns & Destroys King Corbin On Smackdown

Randy Orton considered it to be a negative reply and replied, “My man. So I guess that’s a ‘no.’” With that, we may have got the confirmation that this match is not happening. Plus, The Rock has already confirmed retirement from the pro-wrestling ring as per his statements from a recent interview. So he will not feature in an in-ring competition, anyway.

WrestleMania 36 will take place Sunday, April 5th, 2020 from Tampa, Florida at the Raymond James Stadium which has rumors written all over it that The Rock will be a part of it. Speculations had that WWE might start a buildup for the same on this past SmackDown 20th anniversary on FOX. However, it appeared to be a one-off segment featuring The Rock, Becky Lynch, and King Corbin. The two super babyfaces laid the ‘smacketh’ down on the heel King in a segment that was appreciated a lot.
