WWE’s female roster is comprised of several promising Australian talents. Starting by the main roster names of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, Rhea Ripley is perhaps the most over women’s wrestler from NXT.
But that’s not all as another incredible talent is patiently waiting to make it to the big leagues. Toni Storm is the concerned name here who is quite a popular face around the IWC.

The WWE NXT UK Superstar Toni Storm was a recent guest on Lilian Garcia’s podcast, Chasing Glory. During their conversation, she reflected on how she became a pro wrestling fan while growing up in Australia.
The Mae Young Classic II winner also mentioned how she eventually got into the wrestling business and started watching it. Toni Storm mentioned the likes of Mickie James, Trish Stratus and Lita are the names who stayed as inspirations for her as she started competing at an early age.
Reason why The Usos have not returned to WWE TV
She was just 19 or even fewer years of age as male wrestlers like John Cena, Jeff Hardy and more appeared to be his inspiration,
“I just fell heavily in love with it,” Toni Storm confessed. “I’ll never forget the moment where my mum was disgusted with the idea of wrestling and she was just giving me crap one day and she was just like, ‘are you gonna be like one of those wrestlers?’ I was like, ‘….yes. I am actually.’

Toni Storm added how she headed to her first-ever WWE Live Event in Brisbane, Australia back in 2007. Storm noted that she was in the last row, equipped with binoculars to help her view the action.
Garcia mentioned that she might have been in the WWE at that time. Storm confirmed that Garcia was there, which the host found something “insane”.
“That’s the thing. I was a really strange kid. No one could figure me out. I was one of those kids. So like, wrestling still to me is just something so different and out there so I was just like, ‘Yeah, no, this is me.’”
Toni Storm recently made her main roster debut through Survivor Series 2019. She competed as a part of the Women’s NXT team.
Team NXT had eventually gone on to defeat both Team RAW and Team SmackDown in this 5-on-5-on-5 elimination match. Storm played a significant role during the match which should prepone her main roster debut.
