Laila was destined to make it big in this game. Why not? She is the 8th of nine children of the greatest boxer of all time, Muhammad Ali. She was born December 30, 1977, in Miami Beach, Florida.
Laila was a manicurist at age 16 and owned her own nail salon before she began boxing. She managed to create her identity and built her legacy with her exploits in the ring.
Standing high at 5’10”, she made her debut at the age of 21 against April Fowler of Michigan City, Indiana, on October 8, 1999. In 2002, Laila was named Super Middleweight Champion by the International Boxing Association.
