Triple H has been busy this year mostly dealing with his corporate duties in the WWE. This was the main reason that he had to miss WrestleMania for the first time in nearly 14 years. But he was not upset about it but rather enjoyed his backstage duties. In a recent interview, he also revealed how much he loves to get involved in production duties.

During the interview with Ariel Helwani, the 14-time World Champion Triple H was asked where he would be in the WWE today if he did not meet Stephanie McMahon. Well, that was an interesting question and The Game had quite a reasonable answer to it.
Triple H revealed that he always had an interest in doing backstage works. Vince McMahon and he would have often bonded over these duties through which he built a good rapport.

It was way before he got in touch with Stephanie McMahon in formerly known company WWF. So he believes that he would continue to do more backstage jobs in the WWE if the McMahon’s daughter would not be in his life. Here’s more from what he has said,
“I was always fascinated with that side of the business even when I was initially training with Kowalski. How he set the shows up and why was always very fascinating to me.
I like to think that I would be doing the exact same thing from a behind the scenes standpoint.
My relationship with Steph is the best thing that has ever happened to me from the standpoint of my wife, and my kids, and everything else, but from a business standpoint, I like to think that I would be doing the same thing, because of the relationship I had with Vince and the creative relationship we had, long before any of that.”

Triple H started dating Stephanie McMahon at the beginning of this decade. At that point, he was reportedly in a relationship with the ninth wonder of the world, Chyna.
The new relationship is speculated to be the reason why Chyna had to depart the company. Within a couple of years dating, Hunter and Steph got married to become the power couple of the WWE.
Currently, Triple H is said to be the next in line to control WWE once Vince McMahon steps down from his position. He is already in the position of the vice-president of talent relations in the company whereas Stephanie McMahon is the COO of the brand as well as the brand ambassador who represents the company in front of media.
