WWE Hall of Famer Triple H is having a good time around the WWE programming as he continues to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his WWE debut.
He recently spoke with Newsweek to note on a wide range of topics that include potentially performing in a Money In The Bank ladder match. Perhaps the context was brought as WWE is hosting a Climb The Corporate Ladder Match, this year.
Top 5 Money In The Bank Ladder Match Performers In WWE History
Being transformed into a corporate guy from the Cerebral Assassin, it would be fitting for him to perform in the newest version of Money In The Bank ladder match that will be hosted on May 10 at the roof of WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
Plus, this is the only thing that Triple H has never accomplished in his illustrious WWE career which perhaps insinuated the interviewer to ask the question of whether The Game is ready for the ladder match.
But Triple H humbly noted that he doesn’t have any intention to compete in a Money In The Bank ladder match, at all. Some of the competitors in WWE are masters for this kind of matches and he’s not one of them,
“I have no desire to climb a high ladder and get pushed off of it,” Triple H said. “There are certain guys that are built for ladders and guys who are and I’m not one of them.
My ladder matches have normally involved me whacking someone with it or getting whacked with it a lot. So climbing and falling off of it is not my forte.”
Triple H continued saying that these kinds of gimmick-based matches started to come around WWE programming, it used to be only another additional match at WrestleMania. The fourteen-time world champion pointed out how he had been part of various storylines going on around ladder matches. But unfortunately, he was never involved in such matches.
Triple H then noted that he has worked in ladder matches in the past but not specifically performed in a Money In The Bank Ladder Match. But he never regrets not doing it since no one has ever seen him doing a moonsault, either.
Triple H had won three ladder matches in his career one of which took place in 2009 where he teamed with Shawn Michaels to capture the WWE World Tag Team Championships from Big Show and Chris Jericho.
The next ladder match in his career took place in 2012 when he defeated Kevin Nash to claim his Sledgehammer hanging high above the ring. He also won an IC title match against The Rock at SummerSlam 1998. Speaking of ladder matches, the next set of Money In The Bank ladder matches take place on May 10th on WWE Network.
