A number of big appearances are currently scheduled on the Road to WrestleMania 36. One of them could be of perhaps the greatest Female Superstar of all-time. As per the social media ongoing and sources, Trish Stratus could be returning for a program in the WWE.
The WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter letting the fans speculate on a possible feud with Sasha Banks in the near future, perhaps for WrestleMania 36.
Trish Stratus posted the tweet that shows the date of Thursday, March 19 which flashed a quick shot of herself facing off with Sasha Banks. The graphic of these two facing off was taken from the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble Match.

On March 19th, WWE has a rare Thursday night live event scheduled at the Mobile Civic Center in Mobile, Alabama. The event was previously slotted on Sunday, August 25, 2019, which got rescheduled on a rare Thursday night.
Trish Stratus is not being advertised for the SmackDown live event but Sasha Banks will be wrestling Naomi in a singles contest. WWE will be in New Orleans for SmackDown taping at the Smoothie King Center the next night, March 20th.
There’s no update available on whether WWE has plans for a feud between Sasha Banks and Trish Stratus. But Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer recently reported that Banks would be on the WrestleMania 36 card, as of last week’s scheduling.
There is no word on who could be her opponent. She was out of action with a reported ankle injury from the beginning part of 2020 that also forced her to miss Women’s Royal Rumble match.
Sasha vs. Trish is a dream match for the pro-wrestling circuit especially for the female division of the WWE. Considering Trish Stratus is very much in shape for in-ring competitions, the match could really be in the works.
Sasha Banks is not at all having a good time on the main roster even at a time when WWE is reportedly throwing a lot of money towards her. But she can barely be seen on regular TV that already fuelled up her WWE status.
So being involved in a program with Trish Stratus could be the best thing that Sasha Banks can expect to get put over in a big way possible.
The seven-time Women’s Champion could also be teasing some kind of WWE Network contents or something related to her official website as she admittedly competed in her last match at SummerSlam 2019 against Charlotte Flair. It was a sweet homecoming for the legendary name where she digested a loss to The Queen to ‘pass the torch’.
