Once again Ajinkya Rahane showed to the world that why is called as the next V.V.S. Laxman. Coming into bat at number 5, Rahane performed his role to build on the innings to maximise the amount of lead possessed by the Indian team. He batted with grit and patience, as a result, he went on to score the seventh century of his Test career.
Twitter heaped praises for Rahane in abundance. Here is what Twitter has to say about Rahane on the occasion of his seventh Test match century –

Put Rahane at 3 already man. Doesn't help either him or the team that he has to bat with the tail.
