Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth might have lost his quarterfinal match against Chinese superstar Lin Dan but his spirited performance has won every Indian fan’s heart.
After losing the first set badly by 21-6, Srikanth made a strong comeback in the next set and totally outplayed his much superior opponent. He won the second set convincingly by 21-11. Srikanth then started his third set much more confidently and had the Chinese in a spot of bother before eventually losing the set 18-21.
