WrestleMania 36 will be arriving soon and speculations have begun which of the matches could be headlining the shows. One of the marquee performance will be reserved for Brock Lesnar, for sure as speculations have begun on who could potentially end up being his opponent. The latest reports suggest something pretty unusual than the earlier noted names to be put against him.

The previous reports indicated that Brock Lesnar could be competing against either Tyson Fury or Cain Velasquez at WrestleMania 36. However, that won’t be the case as per the reliable source.

WWE Raw Commentator Wants To Beat Down Brock Lesnar In 2020

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there’s still no word yet on who Brock Lesnar will be facing at WrestleMania 36. But the WWE Championship is likely to be on the line. However, it won’t happen against Cain Velasquez or Tyson Fury.

Brock Lesnar had retained the WWE Title over Cain Velasquez at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event on October 31st in Saudi Arabia.

He is yet to face Tyson Fury in a match but there were speculations that Vince McMahon might hirer the boxer to perform at WrestleMania in his second WWE match against The Beast. At this point, it looks unlikely.

The report also added that although Brock Lesnar is scheduled for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, WWE is yet to decide who he will be wrestling at the event. There’s also no word yet on whether he will be defending the WWE Championship or appearing in the Rumble match, itself.

As of now, Brock Lesnar is in the middle of time-off before the Royal Rumble. He will be heavily featured on television for the most part until WrestleMania like always.

Brock Lesnar’s WWE Royal Rumble 2020 Opponent Is Yet To Be Decided

WWE would like to keep the plans for Lesnar under wraps as they don’t want to get the words out before they announce plans who he’ll be working at the biggest event of the year in April.

The latest news is that Brock Lesnar will be back on WWE Raw, next week to kick off his storyline for Royal Rumble 2020. It was confirmed during this week’s episode of Raw that he’ll be present on the show to be hosted in Oklahoma City which will also be the first Raw episode of the decade.
