As reported earlier, Samoa Joe is ready to make a comeback to the WWE squared circle in due course. An angle has already been set up for the much-anticipated return for the former United States Champion.

He should be a welcoming addition to the Monday Night Raw roster which is suffering from lack of star power, as of late.

As noted by Slice Wrestling, the current plan is to start a feud between Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins in an interesting way. The latter name has turned heel in recent times who need new opponents to face off.

So, WWE will introduce Joe as a babyface character on Monday Night RAW, for the very first time. Here’s more from the source,

Turning Samoa Joe into a babyface will be a significant change to his character. It would be a fresh presentation that the WWE Universe has not seen before. We have seen Rollins vs. Joe matches, before this. But with the characters being reversed at this point, the audience won’t feel the repetitiveness.

Update On Injured WWE Raw Superstars From 2019 TLC PPV

‪Samoa Joe had been out of action since September 9th, 2019. He reportedly suffered a thumb injury during The King Of The Ring tournament semi-final in a three-way match against Ricochet and Baron Corbin.

Since then, WWE inserted him to kick-off show panels and then carried forward the stint to Raw commentary table, as well. Thankfully this part-time role is coming to an end, pretty quickly.‬‬

As noted in the spoilers of the next episode of Raw, Samoa Joe refused to move when Seth Rollins and AOP wanted to put Rey Mysterio through an announce table. It resulted in a beatdown from the AOP to Joe.

This angle planted the seeds of a future feud between Joe and Rollins. WWE Universe won’t be having any problem to accept Joe as a babyface superstar, following this altercation.
