Arguably one of the most exciting players in the upcoming Confederation Cup is Chile international Alexis Sanchez, who has been in sumptuous form for club and country for over a year now.
He failed to help Arsenal to the Champions League but did take them to an FA Cup victory and will now shift his focus to the international tournament that starts later this month, to help and emulate his country’s success in the Copa America last year.
37 goals in 108 appearances for Chile the 28-year old is expected to take his side as far as possible in the tournament and that has landed him with a place in the official advertisement for the competition.
The 2017 edition of the tournament will be played in Russia and will start on the 17th of June and its official advertisement was recently aired for the first team.

In what is a fitting trailer to what is to come in the competition, Sanchez is seen getting a makeover as an old man.
It also includes both his dogs Atom and Humber and sees him telling his grandchildren the tale of the 2017 Confederation Cup.
Sanchez has won his Chile side the last two Copa America titles and will love to back it up with a stellar time in this competition.
Chile’s first game will come against AFCON winners Cameroon in Moscow.

They also have Australia and Germany in their group and will feel confident that they can progress far enough to keep their heads held him.
Sanchez’ domestic form has been sensational but his place at the Emirates is not fixed for the next season.
He has constantly been linked with a move away from Arsenal but he will hope that he can put that behind him and come up with a decent stint with the national side in the off-season.
