WWE arranged the very best for this past week’s episode of SmackDown which also was the premiere night on FOX. It was a historic occasion as the WWE went one step ahead to become more of a mainstream company. WWE packed the episode with returning legends, including The Rock, Trish Stratus, Lita, Goldberg, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and others. But the notable name missing from this show was The Undertaker.

Bobby Lashley-Lana Appeared On WWE Raw From Rusev’s House

He is one of those superstars who helped SmackDown to grow as a brand, over the years. So seeing The Undertaker on the show seemed evident. In reality, we did not spot the legendary name on the card that raised fans’ eyebrows. Even The Deadman might have been unhappy with it and commented on the situation through his social media.

Braun Strowman & Tyson Fury Had Massive Brawl On WWE Raw Main Event

The Undertaker posted a photo to promote SmackDown 20th Anniversary on FOX Network that was a huge success. A fan commented below the picture saying that it should be him to close out the show instead of that Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar brawl. ‘Taker noticed it and replied saying, “I was told I wasn’t needed.”

The Undertaker was heavily rumored to make an appearance on this show as SmackDown history remains incomplete without him. It’s still not clear why WWE did not want him in the mix. Probably, the officials just did not want to waste his appearance as there were already a galore of stars lined up for the show alongside several other matches. By virtue of these, SmackDown pulled off the highest viewership of recent memory.

The latest appearance of The Undertaker occurred on September 10th when WWE visited Madison Square Garden to host SmackDown Live. He opened the show by appearing in a segment alongside Sami Zayn. The ongoing speculations suggest that WWE will eventually bring him back in this month for the Crown Jewel PPV. He has always been a must-see name in Saudi Arabia shows and the next one to take place on October 31st, should not be an exception.
