The woman who accused Neymar of rape has been dropped by her Lawyers because of her contradictory stories.
The incident took place on May 15th in a hotel in Paris, France while she reported it on May 31st in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
She told her lawyers that it was a case of physical assault while reported a matter of rape to the police. A medical examination carried out on May 21 – six days after the alleged rape – revealed the woman had bruising on her legs and buttocks and was also suffering from post-traumatic stress.
Now, her lawyer has told O Globo TV that she initially said that she had only been physically assaulted by the footballer.

José Edgard da Cunha Bueno Filho said he only heard about the rape claim when she made it in a formal complaint to police on May 31.
Mr Cunha Bueno Filho said, he advised her to handle the matter by sorting it out with Neymar’s legal team as a court cas could be very long. The lawyer also had concern with the woman releasing a video she made of Neymar in their second meeting go public.
“Matters came to a difficult moment and her actions challenged my ethical standards, my professionalism about how I was handling things”, he said.
“So for that reason, I no longer felt comfortable representing her. It just didn’t make sense,” he said.
Neymar Jr. says he is being framed in order to extort money. The allegations are completely false. In order to prove his innocence the PSG star released a video in which he showed a string of his whats app chats with the accuser. The chat had X-rated pictures sent by the accuser, of which some were blurred and a few were visible. This could land Neymar into trouble as releasing someone’s obscene pictures without consent is a crime.

In an interview with Band TV, with his lawyers present, the footballer’s father Neymar senior said: “My son is a victim of attempted extortion and this is the reason why he released the messages.
“He preserved the name of the girl and her image but (my son) had to defend himself. He’s been accused of rape and this is a crime he has not committed.
“He didn’t have a choice. He preferred to commit an internet crime than be accused of rape.
“This was something he had to defend himself from quickly. It’s better that he tells the truth now to show what really happened.”
Neymar’s father spoke about the second meeting with the woman, which he claims she tried to record.
“She was desperate to meet up with her for the second time. He went (to the her hotel) and stayed for 10 minutes,” he said.
