WWE Backlash 2020 took place last night with the main event match that had Randy Orton and WWE Hall of Famer Edge battling in it. Several other championships were on the line including the WWE and Universal Titles. Also, two veterans Sheamus and Jeff Hardy squared off in a match on the show aired from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Here are the results,
WWE United States Title Match
Andrade vs. Apollo Crews (c)
The US title match went down at the kick-show segment of Backlash where Angel Garza tried to make interference bringing out Kevin Owens for the neutralization. Owens hit a Stunner on Garza, outside the ring. Apollo took advantage and hit the Sitdown Powerbomb to get the win.

Triple Threat for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles
The IIconics vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs. Sasha Banks and Bayley (c)
Alexa Bliss was in full control of this Backlash opening contest by unloading on each of her opponents. The fight eventually went to the floor. The IIconics came back to the ring double-teaming on Banks. Bliss-Cross made the save and Bliss also hit the Twisted Bliss on Royce. But she can’t capitalize as Banks cane from the back and sent her outside the ring. She pinned Royce to retain the titles.
