John Cena has openly admitted to doing something at the upcoming edition of WrestleMania on April 5th. It would apparently be a ‘gift’ for the WWE veteran which is enough to enthrall the boss and CEO of the company, Vince McMahon. He is in full giving mood which should earn the former 16-time world champion a major spot at the biggest event of the year.

“Performing at WrestleMania this year would be a gift. I haven’t been intertwined in the machine of the WWE. I know those WrestleMania spots are few and far between.” (as quoted by Cena in an interview with Sports Illustrated)

Brad Shepard reported that backstage words around the WWE are that they are hopeful to have John Cena back for WrestleMania 36. We should note that the biggest PPV of a calendar year is getting hosted in Tampa, Florida which is his current place of residence. This already makes things clear around WWE’s planning for their former franchise player. Plus, he also has a habit of not missing WrestleMania.

The source added that the angle regarding John Cena should be set up at the very last moment unless the plans get changed. In that case, he may make some additional appearances on WWE’s weekly TV before the show emanates in April,
