WWE announced a solid match for Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules. He will face off Bobby Lashley in a men’s singles contest. These are two behemoth names that have never wrestled each other in a match. But you can only imagine what these two can bring to the table considering their strength. However, it should be a spectacular bout.

Plus, the number one contender’s spot also hangs in the balance over the Universal Championship (UC). One of these two men is likely to face Brock Lesnar for the title at the biggest event of the summer.

So, the chances are high that officials will host this match at the very end of the card meaning it’s going to be the main event.

It is not anything new when it comes to Reigns. He is the most predicted main event superstar in the company for the past several years. He is in the middle of a never-ending push by the Creative team.

Well, this process is going on for the most part of WWE programming ever since he became the franchise player.

If the same tradition continued at the Extreme Rules PPV event, Reigns will earn a new accolade. He will now become a member of an elite club.

Reigns could capture a place in the top 10 list of the main-eventer club. Only the great superstars in the company had earned this throughout their career.

Here is the update from stillrealtous.com,

“According to Reddit user Gear4Vegito, if Roman does end up closing the show it will be his 27th PPV main event which would put Roman at number 11 on the list of all-time main eventers.”

Reigns will cross the elite names like Edge, Hulk Hogan, Batista and Big Show in that case.

Concurrently, he is in the 11th place in a tied position with these names. All of them has featured in 26 main events together. Roman will move to an undisputed 11th spot with 27 main events under his name. But he is still a long way to go to the top.

But Roman Reigns can certainly target Brock Lesnar who is on number 10 with 28 main event matches.

Thereafter, Chris Jericho stands on number nine with 30 matches whereas The Rock is at number eight with 33 such matches. Triple H is standing at the top with 72.

Undertaker is in number two with 69 following which is John Cena with 68 main events.
