The tradition of Jeff Hardy getting into trouble does not seem to end, anytime soon despite his growing age. For the umpteenth time in his career, the police have arrested him, last week. The former WWE Champion was recently taken under custody in Moore County, North Carolina with the charges of Driving While Impaired. Additional reports are now available on this incident hinting that there was a pre-arrest incident, too.

TMZ Sports obtained a police report of this incident and revealed that Jeff Hardy fought with his wife before the arrest happened,

“During the stop, the officer noticed Hardy had ‘what seemed to be dried blood on his nose’ – and asked what had happened.

The driver advised that he and his wife got into a fight.”

Later, Jeff Hardy admitted that he took two shots of vodka earlier in the night and was in an impaired state while the police arrested him,

“Cops also say Hardy bombed the field sobriety test – and was uncooperative when asked for a breathalyzer or blood sample. The officer ultimately got a search warrant from a judge to extract a blood sample from Hardy – so EMS was summoned to draw it.

Hardy was booked for Driving While Impaired and Driving on a Revoked License. The police report lists Hardy at 6’1″ and 175 pounds. As for the alleged ‘fight’ with his wife, cops tell us they are NOT investigating domestic violence … but if Hardy filed a complaint, they would look into it.”

As mentioned earlier, this was not the first time that the former WWE Champion did something wrong. Ever since returning to the WWE in 2017, he went into custody for misdeeds on more than a couple of occasions. These fuelled up the rumors of whether WWE would terminate his contract or not. Fortunately, he is still under contract with the company who issued a statement claiming Jeff Hardy is responsible for his actions.

Jeff Hardy is out of action in the WWE ever since Wrestlemania 35 was over. He suffered an injury to the knee that needed surgery and thereby kept him out of action for more than six months. The currently projected return for him suggests he may come back in time to perform at WWE Survivor Series in November.
