WWE News: Officials Taking Precautionary Steps To Prevent Superstars From Leaving WWE

Ever since Vince McMahon bought WCW, there was not really that much competition for the WWE. They were the undisputed king of the pro-wrestling industry for the last two decades. There were not any such real big threats until All Elite Wrestling arrived in the scene. The unveiling of this brand on the New Year’s Eve changed the course.

Randy Orton leaving WWE?

The biggest benefit that All Elite Wrestling will get, is the strong financial backup. The owner of Jacksonville Jaguars, the Khan Family is providing financial support to the show-runners i.e. Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks. So this is going to be a mix of strong finance and a rich legacy of pro-wrestling that could be a big threat to WWE.

Sasha Banks leaving the WWE?

On paper, the Khan family possesses more wealth than the McMahons. So they have the ability to offer a lucrative contract to existing WWE superstars or the indie stars to prevent them from going to WWE. It raised concerns within the officials of the company. So they are going all over to prevent the talents to go to All Elite Wrestling brand.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE is concerned with some of the superstars willing to leave the brand. They will try hard to retain some of the big names that turned out to be a headache in recent times. The Usos are one of those names who is rumored to go to All Elite Wrestling. So the company would go to a long extent so that it does not happen, (courtesy sportskeeda.com)

“So, any superstars whose contracts are on the verge of expiring are now being asked to re-sign and their pay is being upped by WWE. Moreover, WWE is determined to focus on the tag team division and actually push the talent in the division, unlike in the past when they’ve been a mere sideshow.”

Concerns with the Usos is really high since WWE knows that All Elite Wrestling will go all out to get them. The Young Bucks is a world famous tag team who needs proper opponents against them. So who better to play the role than The Usos. They are five-time champions who have done it all in the tag team division of the WWE.

This is the reason why WWE has started offering increased money to their talents while re-signing contracts. They are in fact urging those superstars to sign a new deal whose contracts will expire, sooner. Those who will stay with the WWE will indeed get an increment in paychecks than earlier. WWE would also likely to treat them in good ways rather than ignoring them after signing.
