WWE sets up the main event of Wrestlemania months early than the show arrives. This gets easier when the marquee superstars like Roman Reigns, Triple H or John Vena are around the scene. All of them are out of the scene forcing the creative team to come up with some new planning. Women superstars will be an integral part of this.
The Dirty Sheets came up with a report clarifying that the officials are still trying to finalize the main event of Wrestlemania. As per the suggestions of the source, the officials are taking the easiest way to build up the potential main event of Wrestlemania. Ronda Rousey will be one half of this match, for sure. Her opponent is most likely going to be Charlotte Flair.
The backstage officials are certainly hesitating to confirm this match after it happened at Survivor Series PPV. Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey could have been a lock-on if Becky Lynch was okay to go at Survivor Series. Her unavailability forced the bookers to go with a Charlotte Flair as they had no other choice. Still, they are considering to do it for one more time.
Here are the two mega-matches those are likely to happen at Wrestlemania 35, as per the source,
– Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair (Rematch)
– Becky Lynch vs. Nia Jax
This is a bad news for Becky Lynch fans as they expected to see the dream match against Ronda Rousey. The current Raw women’s champion may not compete after Wrestlemania 35 as she is looking forward to having a family. In this case, this match will remain a dream always whereas Charlotte will get to compete against Ronda Rousey for twice.
But as per storyline wise, both the matches seem okay. Charlotte Flair destroyed Ronda Rousey in their Survivor Series bout. The match ended in a disqualified way as The Queen continued hitting her opponent with Kendo Sticks and Chair Shots. So it seems evident that ‘the baddest woman on the planet’.
On the other hand, Nia Jax was the sole reason why Becky Lynch had to miss Survivor Series. Her stiff punch occurred a broken face to Becky Lynch and prevented her from competing. Ever since then, Nia Jax has become a villain for the entire pro-wrestling fraternity. She gets a natural heat from the audience whenever entering an arena making her a universal villain.
Becky Lynch facing her in a match at Wrestlemania will create perhaps the most natural feud of the year. The Smackdown women’s champion would have to turn babyface in that case. Plus, both of these matches will take place in a cross-branded way as these women belong to different brands.
