Coming out of this past weekend’s live event, WWE officials may have to deal with headaches regarding a couple of injuries that took place.
The franchise player of the company might have been on the receiving end of a fatal blow during a match that caused him an injury.
Is Roman Reigns no more the face of WWE?
Roman Reigns is the concerned person who reportedly hurt himself during a tag team match that has caused backstage concerns.
As reported by wrestlingINC.com, the main event of yesterday’s WWE live event in Sydney, Australia witnessed Roman Reigns competing in it.
That match saw Reigns and Daniel Bryan teaming up against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in a Steel Cage to pick up the win.
Is Reigns better than John Cena?
But the back and forth action caused him bumping into the wall of the cage which may have been the cause of suffering the injury. Here’s more from the source,
“Roman Reigns may have suffered a minor injury or some sort of stinger during the main event of today’s WWE live event in Sydney, Australia.
At one point during the match, Reigns took a hard bump between the cage wall and the ropes. Reigns went on to help finish the match but appeared to be hurting on his way up the ramp.
Roman Reigns reportedly signaled to a medic and a WWE official that he was hurt, and they spoke with him as he returned to the backstage area. Stay tuned for updates on Reigns’ status.”
WWE has not provided any update on the condition of the Big Dog as they are still probably evaluating him with the help of the best medical facility present out there.
We hope Roman Reigns to be out of danger heading into this week’s Friday that will lead him to a mega match at Crown Jewel. He is all set to lead Team Hulk Hogan as the captain.
Another injury noted by WWE.com apart from Roman Reigns, during the Australia Live Event featured Xavier Woods. As noted by the official website, he suffered an Achilles injury and was not able to finish the tour.
No current update is available whether he will have to undergo a surgery in due course. But Woods will be missing plenty of in-ring actions in the near future.
