For the past few years, Roman Reigns has been the franchise player of WWE aka the face of the company. He featured in the headliner for four straight WrestleManias to set an all-time record. (No other franchise player holds the accolade) But his position changes since leukemia diagnosis and return to action. WWE had to put him to the backseat as he hasn’t been involved in the main event picture, anymore.

During his absence from the title picture, Seth Rollins has stepped in and tried to fulfill that spot. For months now, he has become one of WWE’s top stars and a constant main-eventer from Monday Night Raw division. So Roman Reigns believes his Shield brethren are indeed the top star today and who must be named as the face of WWE.

Brock Lesnar Vs. Cain Velasquez Can Be Delayed Due To Injury

Roman Reigns talked about Seth Rollins and his rise to the occasion in a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated and stated the following,

“There is a lot to being the face of WWE,” said Reigns. “It’s not only about being in the ring. It’s about how you represent, and that is a 24-7, 365 job. You’ve got to be on all the time for 52 weeks a year. But I’m telling you now, my brother is legit.” (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)

Ever since Roman Reigns vacated the Universal Championship, the title belonged to only two superstars, Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar. Rollins beat the Beast Incarnate on two occasions for the title those are at WrestleMania and Summerslam. Reigns felt extremely proud at what his Shield counterpart has achieved,

“I was so proud of him and what he did at SummerSlam against Brock Lesnar. He obviously had one of those weeks where the Twitter machine and the Internet went nuts on him, but he bounced back and answered the call.”

The above comments were in the reflection of Seth Rollins rubbing some fans in the wrong way within WWE Universe. The fact is though that he loves WWE, extremely and he does everything with extreme passion. So as per Roman Reigns, WWE is in safe hands as long as he is the champion,

“Seth loves the WWE. That’s why some people misread some of the things he says or the ways he delivers it, but he does mean well. He’s a workhorse. Yeah, he’s a little live at the mouth sometimes, but he’s got a heart of gold, trust me. Whether he’s on Raw or SmackDown, the WWE is in good hands with him as champion.”
