Roman Reigns injured?

With The Rock coming back to the WWE during SmackDown premiere on FOX, some of the fans think that the setup could be underway for the match. However, that appearance has reportedly happened for a one-off time.

Could the dream match be happening?

Roman Reigns recently had an interview with TVInsider to promote the upcoming WWE 2K20 video game. He discussed a number of things during the conversation with one of them being the mega match against The Rock.

Speaking of the bout, he stated that they would do great as a tag team. But the fans want to see them going one-on-one. So he would have to do something overwhelming while competing in this match,

“It would have to be something the fans are just overwhelming about, they have to make it very clear this is the matchup they want. Then we have to take into account our family and the way that affects us and the way we’d tell our story.”

The former world champion also praised his cousin The Rock a lot for the hard work that he put off to get to where he is today. He put up a smile on his face while maintaining his work ethics,

“You can really see that with him and his process. It’s a unique process he has, no doubt. He is a superstar and worked his butt off to get to that point and make it that way. When you get your one-on-one time with him and see him come on set and interact, he is just so genuine.

Always such a good time, always a smile on his face. To be able to be around him and pick his brain on a few different things as far as this business, movie business, business in general, fitness, all kinds of stuff.”

Speculations about this one-of-a-kind match will continue to go on until and unless WWE provides an update on it. It could eventually turn out to be a perfect way for The Rock to send goodbye to the squared circle, though. Only time will tell whether The People’s Champ can make time to compete in one last match.
