WWE fans always love to see the surprising returns inside the squared circle. Imagine what their reaction could be if perhaps the greatest faction of all-time decided to reunite and compete in a match.

None other than the WWE EVP of talent relations, Triple H commented on bringing back D-Generation X to the squared circle. This could also bring back the opportunity of seeing Shawn Michaels competing in another match inside the ring.

Big announcements on Crown Jewel

CM Punk return happening?

To promote their WWE 2K20 video game, WWE released a match simulation of D-Generation X (Triple H & Shawn Michaels) vs. DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa).

This is a dream match for the NXT fans as the legendary names acted as the mentors for the two young guns who could be the future of WWE. Both Gargano and Ciampa has always been vocal about facing these two names.

Now Triple H fuelled up chances of seeing this match stating that the only place we could see the match happening is at NXT. Knowing that it was a tease of making the match to reality, Gargano commented with gif. Thus the IWC started drooling over the fact whether WWE could be planning the DX vs. DIY match in the future.

Shawn Michaels has retired from in-ring competition way back in 2010. Despite a number of invitations, he stayed in the retired situation until Saudi Arabia offered a lucrative paycheck to him.

D-Generation X was reformed (HBK & Triple H) and seen in action at WWE Crown Jewel 2018 PPV. These two defeated The Brothers Of Destruction (The Undertaker & Kane) in the main event.

Following that, there were rumors that Shawn Michaels may compete in some more matches with Johnny Gargano being one of his opponents. However, the legendary name said that Crown Jewel was a one-off night in his career and he is not coming back to wrestling, ever again. However, with this tweet from Triple H, could it be a hint that he changes his mind? We have to wait a bit more to know whether it happens.
