Backstage on RAW Paul Heyman made a surprise appearance when he announced that this Friday on SmackDown Jey Uso would make his decision whether he would stand by his twin brother or he would remain on the side of Roman Reigns. Heyman guaranteed that Jey would be on the side of Roman Reigns.
The Indus Sher was scheduled to take on the team of Cedrick Alexander and Shelton Benjamin next on Monday Night RAW. But the match never officially started as the Indus Sher attacked the former RAW Tag Team champions before the start of the match and beat them down. The match could never officially start.

Match 6 – World Heavyweight Championship – Seth Rollins defeated Damian Priest to retain
This match was big booked for nearly 16 minutes and it was the best match of the night. This was not only the best match of the night but one of the best matches of the year so far. What an amazing performance from both Rollins and Priest. These types of matches are only seen in PPVs.
Kudos to WWE for booking two pay per view standard matches in one single show. These two matches could be a pic in any pay per view event. The World Heavyweight Championship match was simply amazing. Now we finally understand why there are talks of pushing Damian Priest as a main event star soon.
Seth Rollins Successfully Defended His World Heavyweight Title On RAW
This 16 minute long match provided almost everything that makes a wrestling match perfect. There were near falls, high risk maneuvers, “this is awesome” chants, everything was so good in this match. You just cannot take your eyes off if it. From the very first minute to the last, it was extremely entertaining.
At the end of the match, Finn Balor got involved who tried to assist Damian Priest, but ultimately he could not provide any help. Damian looked a little disappointed with Balor’s interference. This distraction helped Rollins to pin Priest with the Stomp. Rollins celebrated with his World Heavyweight Championship as this week’s RAW went off air.
Overall it was a good show of RAW. It might not be as engaging as it required to be a top class show but it provided two amazing matches that could highlight any pay per view event. We got to see new feuds getting started as well. It is good to see that the Monday Night show of WWE is improving. The only thing their lacking is building a proper feud for The Smackdown Women’s Championship.
