They (WWE) always promote the Raw after WrestleMania as the best Raw of the year. Indeed the night after WrestleMania produces some great memories. So what to expect from this week’s episode?
We hope to see Goldberg for the last time, cutting his farewell promo. It will be better for him if he does not wrestle anymore, fans are not appreciating his work, he needs to retire now for good.
So what is next in line for Brock Lesnar? Who can be the best choice for Brock to feud next for the Universal title? We think WWE should not give Brock an opponent in any hurry.
They should arrange some tournament or battle royal to determine the next no 1 contender. For this week, Brock and Heyman should be focusing on promo works on how Brock dominated Goldberg at WrestleMania 33.
As Jericho is taking time off for now, who would be in the line next to challenge Kevin Owens for the United States championship? There are not many legit choices in hand except for Sami Zayn. But we seriously do not want to see another Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn feud. Let us see what they have decided.
With Seth Rollins winning over Triple H at WrestleMania, they need to arrange a good feud for Rollins next. He can be put into the Universal championship picture. Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins has never been given a good run. This can be the perfect time for it.
On the women’s side, we think this is the right time for Sasha Banks to turn heel and build up a feud between her and Bayley. Otherwise, they have to arrange similar feuds from the past because they do not have enough options in hand.
We are also waiting to hear the response from the Hardy boys too. It was possibly the biggest shock of WrestleMania 33. But they are not carrying their broken gimmick which is a sad part. Still, it would be very interesting to see them appearing for the first time on Raw since return.
We are also expecting the return of Finn Balor on this show. Maybe a feud with Samoa Joe for him would be decent to see.
On the Cruiserweight chapter, we believe they should continue the Neville – Austin Aries feud for a little longer. Austin Aries needs to win the title now. Payback would be a good venue for the title change. Neville needed a win at WrestleMania, he had it now. It is the time to drop the title to Austin for him to make the 205 division a little stronger.
Lastly, there is Roman Reigns who needs a new opponent now. They should turn Roman heel now. After what happened last night at WrestleMania 33, this is the best time to turn Roman Reigns heel. We seriously hope they do not continue his feud with Braun Strowman, he seriously needs to turn heel.
