WWE superstars especially the female division members apply a lot of makeups before coming out to the arena for performances. This often bars us from seeing their original physique unless they decide to reveal so on social media. In the meantime, WWE has just released a gallery of their first-ever no-makeup photoshoot on the official website.

It’s an empowering photoshoot gallery as the National Women’s History Month celebration continues in the WWE. Several WWE top female talents were part of this photoshoot where no-makeup was the theme.
They can be seen in their original looks with no additional enhancements made to their screen. Most of the superstars have been seen in rusty looks which is quite a rare kind of photoshoot by all means.

Alongside this no-makeup photoshoot, WWE also released a gallery of quotes from the Superstars involved in this campaign. NXT Women’s Superstar Io Shirai issues a statement on how nervous she was prior to doing this photoshoot as her heel on-screen character could be much different to her natural persona,
“I was nervous about being so natural. Usually my character is so strong: strong eyes, strong makeup, strong character, but for now, I’m so natural and just smiling.”
Apart from Shirai, names like Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Carmella, Io Shirai, Dana Brooke, and Ruby Riott have also been featured in this no-makeup photoshoot.
For a change, it was good to see these names taking part in this campaign that is indeed inspiring. We have given some of the clicks in this article. For the full gallery, you may click here,
When it comes to the looks of the superstars, WWE maintains a strict policy as they have to cater to different audiences. Quite often, they have to take permission from the WWE officials when willing to portray a different look. There are restrictions for tattoos, as well as sometimes those can be offensive to a portion of the audience.
In recent times, Rhea Ripley has opened up on this issue saying how WWE has prohibited her from getting tattoos in her upper-body. She has to cover up her legs fully as she has those covered with inks as stated in an interview with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT,
“My dream since being a little girl is to be the most tattooed human ever. I just love tattoos, I don’t know why! I’ve always loved them. But, unfortunately for me, WWE isn’t clearing my upper body [for tattoos] – that’s why I wear pants! I got pants so I wouldn’t have to clear my tattoos because you can’t see them. I’m trying to finish my leg sleeves, then hopefully I can convince people to let me get my arm sleeves and other stuff, but we’ll see how that goes.” (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)
