WWE Returning With Annual Tribute To The Troops Show ON THIS DATE 1

The return of the most patriotic show of the year is confirmed. WWE will be hosting the Tribute to the Troops for another year that is a celebration of USA soldiers and military troops. It will be the 17th straight time that the superstars of the company will compete in s show dedicated to the military personnel. As always, the show has been slotted into the last month of the year.

Three Raw names to become next-gen top superstars

This 17th annual Tribute to the Troops will take place on Friday, December 6th, in Fayetteville, North Carolina at the Crown Coliseum. This will be the first time in seven years that WWE will host a show in this city. WWE officially announces the return of Starrcade show

The fans will be delighted to know that this show happens as part of Friday Night SmackDown on the same night. So the tapings of the patriotic show will be happening on the same night before FOX airs their weekly programming. WWE will declare the TV telecast of the show at a later date.

In general, WWE airs this program closer to the Christmas season. The USA Network is the likely network to air Tribute to the Troops. Last year, Tribute to the Troops was taped on Tuesday, December 4th, at Fort Hood, Texas. Later, it aired on December 20th with Seth Rollins and AJ Styles performing in the main event match.

Earlier, WWE noted on Tribute to the Troops tradition saying that the show is to “honor our servicemen and women and their families. In the tradition of Bob Hope, WWE brings together the best of sports, entertainment and pop culture with celebrity appearances and performances from music’s most popular acts in what is considered TV’s most patriotic and heartwarming show of the year.”

Daniel Bryan

The New Day

Braun Strowman

Bayley

Sasha Banks

Shinsuke Nakamura

Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode

WWE is yet to release any official information for the December show, for now as they have bigger shows like Crown Jewel or Survivor Series to plan for. So no matchups featuring the above superstars are available at this time.
