Match 3 – Money in the Bank qualifying Match – Zelina Vega defeated Lacey Evans
This was the first women’s Money in the Bank ladder match qualify competition on Smackdown tonight where Zelina Vega earned the obvious win. Lacey Evans dominated the most part of the match but she could not answer the pinfall that got Zelina a spot at this year’s Money in the Bank.

Match 4 – Money in the Bank qualifying match – LA Knight defeated Montez Ford
Here is the next Money in the Bank qualifying match and this is for the men. This match was booked for around 5 minutes and it was a good match. It was a perfect babyface vs heel match where LA Knight snatched a cheating victory when he took support of the rope while pinning Ford.
LA Knight is currently the favourite to win Money in the Bank. He is rumoured to win this year’s Money in the Bank from quite a long time. So it was obvious that he was going to win this match, and after his victory tonight, the possibility of him winning Money in the Bank is getting stronger.
Triple H Introduces New Unified Universal Title For Roman Reigns
WWE legend Triple H came out to the arena for the final and the much awaited segment of this week’s Smackdown. They wasted a lot of time this week with pre taped footages and in promoting Roman Reigns’ title celebration. If they wanted to utilize this time, they could have easily fit in another match.
Triple H cut a short promo on the greatness of Roman Reigns by comparing him with the standards of boxing Legend Muhammad Ali and basketball legend Michael Jordan. He said that in wrestling it is Roman Reigns who matches similar standards. After cutting the promo he introduced the WWE Universal Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns came out to the arena with the Special Council Paul Heyman and The Enforcer Solo Sikoa. As he entered the ring, Triple H praised his amazing title ring and presented him a new unified Universal champion. The title looks exactly same as the WWE title and the Universal title, it is just in Golden. So finally Roman Reigns would now be walking around with one single title.
Roman Reigns celebrated with the new Championship at first and then he grabbed the mic. This time he demanded the entire Universe to acknowledge him. Before he could continue his promo, he was interrupted by The Usos and as soon as the live crowd get to hear their entrance theme, they went completely wild.
