The second last episode of SmackDown before Money In The Bank 2020 took place last night with two qualifiers on the card to decide the MITB ladder match lineups on the card.
Daniel Bryan was seen in action in a match against King Baron Corbin whereas The New Day also competed against the Forgotten Sons in a tag team match. Check out the results from the show that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Daniel Bryan kicked off SmackDown hyping Money In The Bank ladder matches until King Corbin came out to compete in the scheduled match against him. Bryan was in control hitting the Running Kicks and then locking the half-crab on Corbin. But Corbin got out of it and hit Bryan with a ladder to get disqualified. Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura Nakamura appeared and triple-teamed on Bryan to lay him down.

WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman was on SmackDown talking about his title feud against Bray Wyatt who soon interfered with a Firefly Funhouse segment. He ran through their previous history in the Wyatt Family and sent him a warning before disappearing.

Sheamus defeated EVOLVE star Leon Ruff with a Brogue Kick and waited to see the final vignette aired on Jeff Hardy’s career. It was informed that Hardy will be back on SmackDown, next week. Sheamus said he’d be waiting for him.

Revealed: Will Bayley Retain Women’s Title At WWE Money In The Bank 2020?
Money In the Bank Qualifying Match was next on SmackDown where Carmella competed against Mandy Rose. Rose took control of the match hitting a knee to the face on Mella. Sonya Deville appeared and distracted Rose with a mic in hand. This allowed Mella to drop Rose from behind to get the pinfall. After the match, Deville viciously attacked Rose and hit a running knee to her head against the ring steps.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day – Kofi Kingston and Big E competed against The Forgotten Sons – Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler. The Miz and John Morrison were also present at ringside doing commentary. Big E missed a Spear and went through to ropes to land hard on the floor. Ryker sent him to the steps. Cutler powerbombed Kofi onto Blake’s knees to pick up the pinfall win.

Tamina was giving an interview with Kayla Braxton, backstage when Sasha Banks appeared trying to distract her as SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley pounced on Tamina from behind. Bayley and Sasha double-teamed on her and sent her into a production case to hurt her badly. Lacey Evans ran down to make the save for Tamina.

SmackDown main event featured the final Money In the Bank Qualifying Match between Otis and Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler almost dazed Otis catching him in a sleeper hold. But Otis fired back ramming him into the turnbuckles. Ziggler raked Otis’ eyes and hit the Zig-Zag but Otis kicked out. Ziggler was thrown out to the corner by Otis who then executed the Caterpillar successfully to pick up the win and end the show.
