Another injury might have taken place following what transpired with Randy Orton’s concussion during this past weekend.

As noted in recent reports, WWE SmackDown Superstar Kalisto may have suffered an injury during this Monday’s WWE live event that was hosted at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

A correspondent of wrestlingINC.com was in attendance at the SmackDown house show who sent some details of the happenings. Kalisto appeared to have suffered a serious shoulder injury, as per him.

He and Lince Dorado wrestled, The Revival, Scott Dawson, and Dash Wilder. At one point, Kalisto went down on his shoulder and the referee immediately showed the dreaded “X” symbol.

It means that a wrestler is legit injured and needs to be nursed, as early as possible. The signal was given to end the match as The Revival pinned Kalisto to finish it. The bell rang and Lucha House Party’s music started playing, which indicated that they may have been the original winners.

The same lineup occurred at the ongoing post-Christmas live event tours, where the masked superstars have been winning. Perhaps they will soon enter the tag team picture on SmackDown.

Additional details on the Mexican superstar was noted by wrestlingINC.com which goes as follows,

“Kalisto was checked on by WWE trainers as the music played and The Revival left. He did leave on his own, but was clutching what may have been his ribs or underarm area, and was being closely watched by WWE trainers as they walked to the back.”

We expect to receive further updates on Kalisto as time progresses. If his injury turned out to be a fatal one then they are not likely to involve in the tag team title picture and bring some freshness on SmackDown.

The Lucha House Party has not been seen on TV in recent times. But Kalisto has been performing in the house shows, regularly. So this could affect WWE’s planned non-televised matches in the near future.
