WWE Plans To Extend Becky Lynch Vs. Shayna Baszler Feud On Raw

WrestleMania 36 Night One witnessed that Shayna Baszler challenging Becky Lynch for WWE RAW Women’s Champion. Despite her strong momentums, she came up short against The Man who continued her historic title reign.

We have not heard or seen her since this big loss at the show of shows. Plus, the ongoing stint on the main roster was unable to keep her enlisted on the WWE Raw roster.

Currently, Shayna Baszler is still an NXT Superstar which might have kept her status uncertain on Monday Night RAW. But her fans don’t have to be worried as she will be kept on the title hunt if the recent reports are any indications.

The ongoing feud against Becky Lynch would be continuing, despite the latter’s WrestleMania 36 win. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the current plan is to continue Baszler vs. Lynch feud to continue on Raw.

The finish of Shayna Baszler vs. Becky Lynch was reportedly done to protect the challenger. It wasn’t clear if the feud will continue into the next WWE pay-per-view, Money In the Bank on May 10.

But WrestleMania 36 wasn’t certainly the last we’ve seen of these two competing against each other. There will be more matches and Shayna could end up being the one to finally pull an end to this title reign.

The match at WrestleMania 36 witnessed Shayna Baszler locking in her pendant submission move, Kirifuda Clutch locked in on Becky Lynch who reversed the roll putting Shayna’s shoulder down and thus gained the easy pinfall win. The challenger could not believe the wat the match suddenly ended and she was the one to get pinned. Following the loss, she was clearly frustrated.

Addressing the loss, the Queen of Spades indicated that she isn’t finished with Lynch. “The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat,” she said. “The thrill of victory and, for you, Becky, I promise you, the agony of my defeat.”

As for Becky Lynch, the women’s champion does know that she has a target on her back. Following WrestleMania 36, she gave a backstage interview to address that she knows, a lot of controversies are going around. Hence she gave an open invitation to the former NXT Women’s Champion to come after her whenever she feels like.
