It looks like the suspension season is affecting the WWE locker room, pretty bad, at this moment. Starting from December 2019, Robert Roode and Primo Colon were the two names who were suspended due to WWE’s Wellness Policy Violation. Then it was Andrade who suffered the consequences. Current speculation suggested Samoa Joe may be the next where the surprising news is that Rey Mysterio has also been added to the list.

According to the reports from The Dirty Sheets, former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio is set to be suspended for 30 days due to a WWE Wellness Policy violation.
Update On WWE Stars Rusev And Lana Having Trouble In Their Marriage
This could be the reason why Mysterio was written off WWE TV during this week’s RAW, at the hands of Angel Garza. The debuting NXT name planted the Master of 619 with a Hammerlock DDT on the concrete floor. (It happened in the same way like United States Champion Andrade, who got suspended recently for WWE’s Wellness Policy failure and thus got written off the programming).

Rey Mysterio was previously suspended by the WWE due to the same offenses which should make his suspension day count to 60. But he away for sometimes and thus could have saved himself from a longer ban. Here’s more from wwfoldschool.com which also revealed that a bigger program got canceled due to this potential punishment to the beloved superstar,
“This isn’t Mysterio’s first violation of the WWE Wellness Policy, but he’s still getting a 30-day suspension only because he left the company and now his previous wellness policy strikes have been reset.
Both Mysterio and Andrade failed their WWE Wellness Policy tests due to Marijuana offenses, and nothing related to PEDs. Their suspension has resulted in a storyline with Cain Velasquez for WWE Super ShowDown 2020 being postponed.”
It was earlier reported that WWE has bigger plans for Rey Mysterio for WrestleMania 36. He was most likely to be involved with a program also featuring his son, Dominick. But if the suspension prevails then this angle could be postponed which in turn can push back his retirement, as well. More on this should be clarified around the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw.
