Soon after the completion of the series against Thailand, the women’s team will then leave for Botswana to participate in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier scheduled for September 7-20.

Earlier this year, Ireland’s white-ball tour of the African country was postponed amid the Covid-19 reshuffle. ZC had then clarified in a statement that the postponement had been due to a squeeze on the schedule, rather than due to any concerns around Covid-19.
