Real Madrid have managed to lit the La Liga trophy for the first time in more than three years and the manager Zinedine Zidane has to be given a lot of credit for his work on the squad at the Bernabeu.
They have also managed to lift the Champions League trophy for the second time in two years, becoming the first team to do so.
Having helped the club back to its best, Zinedine Zidane is now adamant to improve on his squad for the upcoming season and has been looking to let go of a number of veteran players who might have no place at in the squad next season.
One such player who is ready to quit the club is Portuguese defender Pepe.

The veteran centre-half has been an important player for the club in his career but in the previous season, he was unable to get into the first team under Zidane, falling down the pecking order.
He is now out of a contract and Zidane has decided not to renew it, letting him leave on a free.
He is a huge asset to loose but the French manager already has his own replacement in mind.
According to Marca, Real are not looking too far to replace Pepe and are now ready to make way for Jesus Vallejo as the replacement for Pepe in the next season.
The 20-year old joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Real at the start of the previous season and was in superb form in the Bundesliga in the first half of the season but injuries stopped his progress from the dawn of the new year.
However, it is understood that Zidane is impressed with his progress and is ready to add him to the squad at the Bernabeu for the next season.

He is expected to be the first choice centre back for Real Madrid in the pre-season tour before the next campaign and is expected to fight for a place in the first team alongside Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane and Nacho Fernandez, who have all been in impeccable form for the club.
It is understood that Zidane had a close eye on his progress in the Germany and he is convinced that he is ready for the big stage.
