It is said by a lot of current and former WWE wrestlers that the former two times  WWE Champion The Miz is one of the best persons in the locker room and it is always very good to work with a person like him. It is said that The Miz is a completely different person than the character he plays in WWE.

Big E Makes A Shocking Claim On The Miz

The former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E has something different to say about The Miz. He said that his first experience of meeting the former two times WWE champion was really awful.

E is currently the wrestler that is being pushed in WWE. It is said that Vince McMahon wanted to push him from quite a long time. It is also rumoured that he was scheduled to win the Royal Rumble match this year. But the push was stalled and now it is finally happening.

Mr. Money in the Bank Big E who is also a former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion recently participated in a Q&A with SPORTBible where he made a shocking claim on the former two times WWE Champion The Miz. He said The Miz was “awful” when he first met him. He said;

“I guess Roman, he’s pretty [narcissistic] and that’s pretty obvious from the way he carries himself. The Miz is a great choice, it’s hard to not think of Smackdown people because that’s who I’ve been around with lately.

“You might be surprised, he’s mellowed as he’s gotten older and definitely got better. But he was pretty insufferable when I first met him and I’ve told him this – just very unpleasant to be around and very obnoxious.

“He would do things almost like an 8-year-old. I promise you, he legit did the ‘I’m not touching you’ with his finger an inch from my face and I like being unbothered. He’s gotten better which is why he didn’t come to mind but The Miz was fairly awful when I first met him.”

John Morrison On Why He Returned To WWE

Former three times WWE Intercontinental Champion and a former six times WWE Tag Team Champion John Morrison recently revealed why he made the decision of returning to WWE.

Recently Morrison did an interview with Sports Illustrated where he revealed why he made the decision of returning to WWE. He said;

“This is why I came back to WWE. It wasn’t just to be with The Miz on TV, which has been great. The Miz is one of the hardest-working people I know, and he’s my best friend. But when I started training for pro wrestling, being on Tough Enough in 2002, I said back then that I was doing this because I wanted to main-event WrestleMania.

“A couple of people snickered, but I remember saying, ‘If you don’t want to main-event WrestleMania, you should quit now.’ That’s the whole point. If you do something, you should want to be the best.

“I believe there are a lot of things I am the best at, and I haven’t got the chance to show that yet. It does feel like, for me, these next couple months could be that moment to show exactly what I can do in the ring.”

John Morrison Praises Randy Orton

Former three times WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison recently praised the former thirteen times WWE World Champion Randy Orton. The two athletes have been working together for quite a long time, even last week they presented an excellent match together.

Orton joined the legendary stable Evolution in January 2003, and it changed his career forever. He has been very impressive during his evolution days. In a very short amount of time after joining Evolution, he became the youngest WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

At SummerSlam 2004, Orton defeated the then WWE World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit who win his first world title. Just on the next night on Monday night RAW, Evolution turned on Orton and in the process he turned babyface.

And after that, Randy Orton kept climbing the ladder of success higher and higher. He is a 14 times WWE world champion and maybe more Championship reign for him are coming in the future.

The former ECW Champion John Morrison recently met Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN.com where he praised Randy Orton. He said he knew him for almost two decades and he had been one of the best performers in WWE. He said;

“For me, I mean, Randy, someone that I’ve known for 19 years and always consider him a friend,” Morrison said. “We were talking, and I think that’s the first time that we’ve wrestled. We’ve been in the rings together plenty, but we’ve usually been on the same side. It was cool being in the ring with him.

“It was great having that match with him. His pacing is next level, and the way he thinks about everything is all very methodical, all about the story, all about conveying emotion through your face, and that can be understood by the people watching, which is really what it’s all about.

“The whole point of entertainment is to make someone feel something good, bad, excited, interested, and curious. So for all those reasons, it felt like I came away with a lot of ideas and excitement about the future after that match.”

What To Expect From Miz After In Ring Return

Former two times WWE Champion The Miz has been sidelined from action by an ACL injury. He got injured during the WrestleMania Backlash pay per view event that took place last month.

The Miz faced Damian Priest in a Lumberjack match and this match was built to promote the upcoming movie the Army of the Dead starring former six times WWE World champion Batista.

What To Expect From Miz After In Ring Return

Miz is now side lined by the injury and he would be out for sometimes. Recently he spoke to Sports Illustrated where he talked about his injury. He said;

“I love reading reports about my injury,” Mizanin says. “It’s amazing. It’s all usually wrong. I was reading stuff about me like, ‘What? Where are they finding this information?’ I hadn’t even released anything that I was even injured. As far as I’m concerned, everyone keeps asking me how I’m feeling, and I feel like a million bucks—and I’m going to be on WWE TV every week like I always am.”

Miz

“I’ll be out for a little bit of time. I’ve seen that I’ll be out nine months. I don’t plan on being out nine months. I was on TV last Monday, and I’m going to be on TV every week.”

“We always tell children not to try what we do at home because it’s a very dangerous sport, and I’m a person that had never been injured in a WWE ring for my entire career. I had a match, and did I get injured? Yes, the answer is yes, I did get injured. How long will I be out? To be completely honest, I don’t even know that. I’m just working on physical therapy, getting everything back to 100% so I can give the audience exactly what they want.”

After Miz makes is in ring return, what to expect for him? Since he just won the WWE championship at the start of this year, it would be a big injustice if he continues to job. We believe he deserves better storylines and better feuds.

He should go on to challenge for the WWE United States Championship. He is arguably the best mid carder of his time so he should continue working for the mid card Championship. And since he has pared with John Morrison again, we believe a tag team feud for the former 2 times WWE Champion would be excellent to see as well.

How Much Money WWE Made From The Zombies Lumberjack Match?

At the previous pay per view event WrestleMania Backlash the former two times WWE Champion The Miz faced Damian Priest in a LumberJack match. There is nothing wrong with a Lumberjack match in fact it is pretty enjoyable to watch. But this one was not.

Indeed, this match was extremely bad and terribly booked. WWE solely booked this match just to promote Batista’s new film, Army of the Dead. This is a very rare scene where WWE promoted a movie or anything similar through a match.

How Much Money WWE Made From The Zombies Lumberjack Match?

A promotion is very much acceptable, but the way they booked it was really impossible to digest. Zombies? Did WWE try to prove that zombies actually exist? By the way they booked the match, there is no other conclusion comes into the mind.

No wonder why the fans and the critics are bashing this match badly. This match is one of the biggest reasons why the WrestleMania Backlash pay per view ultimately fell flat. This is not the 1980s or the 1990s anymore, these types of bookings were never accepted by the wrestling fans.

Lumberjack

But the real question is, is it really the worst match WWE in the recent days? There are some similar contenders to this match. The first match comes into the mind is the Undertaker vs. Goldberg match. We believe this match was even worse. The match did not face bad booking like this one, but it was terribly worked.

There is another match that was too bad and terribly booked. It was the hell in a cell match between Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt made no sense whatsoever. We believe these matches are some of the toughest contenders for the lumberjack match between the Miz and Damian Priest.

But how much money did WWE make from this sponsored match? It is reported that WWE received a 7-figure payday from Warner Bros. for the whole sponsorship package, according to Ringside News. It was noted that WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan organized the deal.

F4Wonline.com confirmed that the deal was brokered by Nick Khan for more than $1 million, but there is no word on exactly how much the sponsorship was worth for WWE.

Booker T On The Zombie Lumberjack Match

Two times WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently spoke on the infamous Zombie Lumberjack match that took place in the WrestleMania Backlash pay per view event. The match has been criticized vastly by the fans and the critics and a lot of fans and critics are already considering this match as not only the watch match of the year but the worst match in WWE history.

But there are a lot of wrestlers who showed their defensive mentalities regarding this match. For an example former WWE United States champion MVP defended the Zombie angle on Twitter. Reminded the fans what is the gimmick of the Undertaker.

Booker T On The Zombie Lumberjack Match

Honestly, MVP has a logical point. The Undertaker was literally a deadman whose soul was kept by Paul Bearer. These type of gimmicks are pretty common back in those days. But now a days WWE are trying to come up with realistic gimmicks only. This is a big reason why fans were not being able to digest this Zombie angle.

Besides WWE earned a lot of money from this match. The news broke earlier that WWE and more than a million dollar from this Zombie angle. As we all know the match was actually booked to promote the incoming Zack Snyder movie, The Army of the Dead.

Former five times WCW world heavyweight champion Booker T recently spoke on this match on the Hall Of Fame podcast of him. He said;

“It’s like doing a commercial or doing something for a movie, and we do it live. Just say for instance, the movie The Wrestler. We actually have to shoot the scene at the show. We need the audience and ambience to make everything right. I’m all down for getting a check and tying it into my product and my show. We don’t know how much more money will be dished out later. Batista made some money perhaps as well doing the voice over kicking the show off.”

Booker T Praises The Miz

Former five times WCW World Heavyweight Champion Booker T recently Praised the former two times WWE Champion The Miz.  The A-Lister is working in WWE for more than 16 years, and in this long WWE career, he has achieved a lot of championships and accomplishments.

The A-Lister started his professional wrestling career back in 2003 in some independent promotions. In 2004 he made an attempt in the WWE Tough Enough. In the tournament he came out second, losing only to Daniel Puder. Later he became a judge for the WWE Diva Search.

Soon he was being elevated to a wrestling role. He became instantly famous because of his excellent Mic works. He first earned his Fame after he teamed up with John Morrison. Later, in 2010 he won the WWE Raw Money in the Bank and cashed it in successfully to win the WWE championship. He also featured on the main event of Wrestlemania 27 along with John Cena.

After serving WWE for such a long time, Miz was given another WWE title run recently on this year. Even though the reign was very short but a WWE title run is the biggest achievement in WWE.

During the Hall Of Fame podcast of Booker T, the five-time WCW world heavyweight champion praised the A Lister for his amazing works. He said;

Miz

“I talked to The Miz yesterday. He was actually hanging out with me and Ric Flair at the bar along with Peter Rosenberg. We all got out of the building a little early, and I just wanted to compliment The Miz on the Bad Bunny match.

“Being able to go out there and be a general and work that thing and work it to the utmost and make that kid look better than he ever could himself. Those guys, as far as a tag team goes, go out there and do their job on a weekly, monthly, yearly basis. People wonder why The Miz has stuck around for so long.

Miz

“This guy is all about going out there and getting the job done no matter what. Miz was talking about the night they had to do a pay-per-view, they had to come out and do a rap song. He said they got to the building that day and were told, ‘Y’all are going to be rapping tonight.’ This is somebody that’s never done a rap before.

“You’ve got to go out on television, him and Morrison, and do it live. Do you know how nerve-racking that is? Can you imagine? The guy is good. I give The Miz props, not only for [WrestleMania Backlash], but what he’s been doing for the last 10 years.”

Lumberjack Match Between Miz vs Damian Priest – Worst Match Ever?

Ever since the Lumberjack match between the Miz and Damian Priest at WrestleMania Backlash, a lot of fans and critics are calling it to be worst WWE match ever in the recent days. But is it actually the worst match in WWE in the recent days? Or, is there something worse?

Indeed, this match was extremely bad and terribly booked. WWE solely booked this match just to promote Batista’s new film, Army of the Dead. This is a very rare scene where WWE promote a movie or anything similar through a match.

Whichever match turns out to be the worst it is seriously would not matter after the end of the year, because this match seriously became a huge Contender to become the worst match of the Year. So far there is no Contender to this match, unless WWE come out with something worse.

The Miz Says That Arn Anderson Once Told Him That He Was Not Initially Ready For Main Event Scene

The former two times WWE Champion The Miz shocked the world when he featured on the main event of WrestleMania 27 along with John Cena. Not only he walked in as the WWE Champion on the main event of WrestleMania 27, he successfully defended the championship against John Cena by beating him.

But this match is also considered as one of the worst main events in WrestleMania history for so many reasons. Of course, there are reasons like The Rock making an interference to cost John Cena the opportunity to Grab the WWE Championship, but the weakest link of this match was the star power.

Miz

The Miz Says That Arn Anderson Once Told Him That He Was Not Initially Ready For Main Event Scene

The Miz was not a very big star back then. And he was not quite ready for a scene like the main event of the Grandest Stage of Them All. Even before the interference of the Rock, the match was never good enough to be a WrestleMania main event. In fact The Rock’s interference was the only blessing in disguise since it was a huge talking point.

The A-Lister recently appeared on RNC Radio’s ‘The A Show’ as a guest where he revealed that Arn Anderson once told him that he was not initially ready to be in the main event scene. He said;

Miz
Miz. Image Credits: Twitter

“So my first week out [on Raw], I called out John Cena knowing he’s not going to be at TV and say, ‘I call you out right now. I want a match, I’m taking on John Cena. I’m making a name for myself.’ John Cena doesn’t show up, that’s 1-0. The next week, I call him out, I know he’s not going to be there, 2-0, then 3-0.

“I think I got up to 8-0 and then finally, I got to a pay-per-view with John Cena and he mopped the floor with me. I don’t think I got any offense. He just beat me, cleaned me up, wiped me away and I remember going backstage going, ‘Oh my God, eight weeks down the drain. I can’t believe –’ and then Arn Anderson came up to me and goes, ‘You’re looking at this all wrong’ and I go, ‘What do you mean?’

Miz
Miz. Image Credits: Twitter

“He goes, ‘You just had eight weeks to talk about — you’re not ready’ and by the way, when you’re in WWE, you always think you’re ready. ‘I’m ready, are you kidding me?’ But now knowing what I know, I wasn’t ready at the time. I needed to grow as a performer, I needed to grow for the audience to see me. I needed wars. He was like, ‘You need the wars, the trials, the tribulations, the stories to get you to a John Cena level,’ and he was right.”

The Miz Says He Is Finally Respected Backstage

The former two times WWE Champion The Miz is signed with WWE for over 15 years. In this long period of time achieved a lot of success in the company including two WWE World Championship runs.

But being an inspirational or influential figure backstage in WWE is not very easy for anyone. The Undertaker was a wrestler whom everybody respected in the backstage. Such a charismatic figure but never be made in WWE.

The Miz Says He Is Finally Respected Backstage

The Miz was one of those overlooked wrestlers for quite a long time in WWE. In spite of being one of the most loyal wrestlers of WWE his backstage contributions were never that mentionable.

However recently the former two times WWE Champions revealed that he is finally receiving the respect he deserved in backstage. The Miz is considered to be one of the biggest Heels in WWE history. He is also one of the best talkers in WWE.

The A-Lister recently appeared on RNC Radio’s ‘The A Show’ as a guest where he revealed that he is finally receiving the treatment he deserves in backstage. He said;

Miz
Miz. Image Credits: Twitter

“It’s kinda crazy actually. For the first time, I truly feel that I’m getting respect and it’s not just from the crew or executives or even the WWE Universe, it’s from our locker room, and when people come up to me and ask me advice, I was never that guy, ever in my entire career.

“No one came up to me and asked advice, and now people are coming to me and going, ‘Hey, how could I do this? What can I do better? How can I get to this next level? You went through this, that and the other thing. How do I get through this, that and the other thing to get to where I can be at that level?’

Miz

“And sometimes in WWE, things go in waves and you gotta ride the wave as long as you can. Not everybody is gonna be a John Cena where you can ride the wave on top for the rest of your career. Sometimes you gotta go down a little bit to literally showcase what you can do to bring it back up. I’ve been on this wave for a long time and now I feel like I’m at the level that I can finally ride a wave and I can keep riding it.”
