After the defeat to Becky this week on Smackdown, it is quite clear that WWE signed Mickie to promote younger talents. So keeping that in mind, let us discuss the best possible bookings for Mickie James at WrestleMania;

Mickie James vs. Becky Lynch – Steel Cage Match – The feud is on fire and Becky looks to be the stronger one so far but if they need to continue this feud till WrestleMania, they need to add a stipulation to this match, we say, steel cage would be the best choice and here is why; first of all this could be very much hyped as the first ever women’s steel cage match at WrestleMania. And Mickie was revealed to the La Luchadora inside a steel cage. So this could just be the perfect booking.
Mickie James vs. Alexa Bliss – Women’s championship – As we were saying in a previous article, there are not many babyface women in Smackdown. To make this match, Mickie needs to turn face, which would be a great booking of course and former friends colliding at WrestleMania could be an excellent choice.
Mickie James vs. Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss – Triple Threat Women’s championship – To book this match, Mickie does not have to turn face. Having the fan favorite in action with two on-screen heel friends in a triple threat match is no doubt a very good idea.
Mickie James vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya vs. Alexa Bliss – Fatal 4 Way Women’s championship – This week on Smackdown Natalya made a challenge to Alexa for the Women’s championship backstage. But a heel vs. heel match can never be a good option for WrestleMania, so adding Mickie and Becky in the frame to make it fatal 4-way match is indeed a good option.
Mickie James vs. Sasha Banks – Inter-promotional Match – Mickie can also feature in a Smackdown vs. Raw match to represented Smackdown. And why we picked Sasha Banks as the Raw representative against Mickie James? Well, Mickie herself expressed her interest in having a match with Sasha once. In October 2015, she joined the TJR Wrestling podcast with John Canton and Rey Moralde where she told this when he was asked which WWE athlete she wants to meet;

“It’s really hard to say. I’ve said Sasha Banks on Twitter before because she’s awesome. I think she’s a star. She’s got it! She can walk, she can talk, she can work…she’s really good. I think Ashley Flair (Charlotte) – love her as a person and I think she’s doing awesome – I’m so proud of her. I’d love to work with Paige…I think that would be fun. I just love working. I just love wrestling and I know what I would like to do with each person in terms of the story and match perspective.”
