Proving the speculations true regarding WWE Hall of Famer Edge’s debut at AEW WrestleDream 2023, Adam Copeland did make an appearance at the latest bygone pay-per-view. The legendary professional wrestler turned on his lifelong bestie, Christian Cage to join forces with Sting and Darby Allin.

Following AEW WrestleDream 2023, a media scrum went down which opened up with Tony Khan making a big announcement regarding Adam Copeland. It appears that the veteran has signed a full-time deal with the AEW and he will be on television every week on AEW TV from now on.

Previously, WWE had Edge under a part-time contract, but fans can expect to see him a lot more on AEW TV. While WWE signaled the end of his wrestling career sooner than later, joining AEW seems the beginning of the ride for him with Tony Khan’s company, and it appears that he has a long road ahead of him. However, it wasn’t noted at this time how long the WWE Hall of Famer wants to stay with the AEW.

Adam Copeland sends a message to his lifelong devotee WWE fans

Meanwhile, Adam Copeland also took to Twitter to address his arrival in the AEW via a post on Twitter. He called All Elite Wrestling to be his new home where he could explore some dream matches and meet some former colleagues. Some of the fans were upset about the WWE-Lifer coming to AE at this point of his career and he has a message for them, as well,

“I don’t buy into this odd mentality of one company or the other. It’s weird. If you took offense to that, take a walk, get some fresh air and soak up some sunshine. It’s wrestling. An amazing gig. But still, it’s wrestling. Relax. It’s supposed to be fun. And it’s just a segment of the fans, not most fans, and definitely not the performers. Within the industry we all know that more choices are better for everyone and pushes us all to be better.”

As Edge, Adam Copeland wrestled his final match in the WWE on the August 18 episode of Smackdown against Sheamus in his hometown of Toronto, Canada which supposedly was the farewell night for him in the company. AEW Dynamite and Collision shows are going to be his new home from now onward.
