Without a doubt, Britt Baker remains the face of the current AEW Women’s Division who achieved a lot in 2021. She was the first woman to get signed to that company back in 2019 who has been the AEW Women’s Champion. Plus, she had also delivered the best match in AEW history with Thunder Rose, last year.
Being the Women’s World Champion and one of the pillars of AEW, speculations have to be there whether WWE would be interested in signing the superstar under their banner. In the past, Britt Baker has admitted that WWE has shown interest in her but the feeling is not mutual from her side. She’s not intending to jump ship to the WWE and she also has reasons about the same.

In an interview with Inside The Ropes, Britt Baker stated that WWE isn’t trustworthy at this point and the company might not offer something authentic to their talents,
“They definitely expressed interest—unfortunately, I’ve got to pick and choose how I say this—but I just feel like you can’t trust anything with that company, whereas at AEW, I’ve never been promised anything that didn’t follow through,” Britt Baker continued.
“So it’s something that, unfortunately, it’s sad that it comes down to that, that it makes a company not really desirable because you can’t trust anything they say.
And I know business is business, and I understand totally that’s what it is, but as a wrestler, business is business as well.”

Britt Baker doesn’t have a fond memory of WWE
Owing to the ongoing releases of talent and staff over recent years, WWE has seemingly grown some bad reputation and Britt Baker was very clear to declare the same. Besides she didn’t have a good experience while being on WWE TV. She was present to watch her boyfriend’s match at 2019 WarGames but WWE Network cut the footage featuring her.
Britt Baker has worked for the WWE in the past and was a part of the Mae Young Classic tournament. Plus, she also made her RAW debut as an enhancement talent for the former champion Nia Jax. She wasn’t allowed to showcase her skills as WWE only booked her to get squashed by Jax.
