AEW Double or Nothing 2022 is confirmed to happen and for that particular weekend, All Elite Wrestling is heading back to Las Vegas. During the Full Gear 2021 PPV media call, AEW President, CEO, General Manager, and Head of Creative Tony Khan announced the next Double or Nothing will be held in Las Vegas.
Khan did not confirm a venue or a date for AEW Double or Nothing 2022, but more updates are likely to be available in due course. During the call, the head-honcho of the AEW noted that his company plans to run shows on the West Coast in 2022 now that they have caught up on making some good shows in that region which were canceled due to the pandemic.

AEW Double or Nothing 2022 heading back to Vegas, makes sense since the company always wanted to hold the casino-themed event in this particular city. But the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to run events from their home base of Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida for the past one year or so. Now they will be heading back to Sin City for one of their biggest events of the year under their banner.

AEW Double or Nothing 2022 was earlier planned in California
Khan has previously talked about wanting to make AEW debut in California to capture the market in that region. During a conversation, this past August, he hoped to hold AEW Double or Nothing 2022 in Vegas, and if that happened, then they would try and schedule their California debut around the same time.
Now that PPV in 2022 is official for Vegas, it seems like the California debut will happen and it should be confirmed sooner than later. AEW Double or Nothing might go down in the summertime going by the earlier three editions.
The inaugural Double Or Nothing event was held on May 25, 2019, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with the headliner match being Chris Jericho vs. current AEW World Champion Kenny Omega. This match took place over the right to become the first-ever AEW World Champ at All Out.
Then the 2020 Double Or Nothing event was held at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville on May 23, headlined by The Elite and Matt Hardy vs. The Inner Circle in a Stadium Stampede match, while this year’s event was also held at the same venue on May 30, headlined by Stadium Stampede II with The Inner Circle vs. The Pinnacle. As for the AEW Double or Nothing 2022 event, we expect to receive more details in the near future.
