Toni Storm has been a strong champion since winning the Interim Women’s Title that will be on the line at AEW Full Gear 2022. As per the announcement made by AEW, the reigning champion will go up against Jamie Hayter at the upcoming pay-per-view set for November 19 with the title on the line.
The latest title match for AEW Full Gear 2022 was announced during the latest episode of Dynamite where a video package highlighted the rivalry between Storm and Hayter and also how they shared a close bond before coming to AEW. Apparently, Hayter had become a different person by taking advice from Dr. Britt Baker, leading to a bitter relationship with Storm.

“We used to live together in England,” Storm said in the video ahead of her title match against Hayter at AEW Full Gear 2022. “We spent a lot of months together, we became best friends, and we became like sisters. When I first walked into AEW, Jamie Hayter wouldn’t even talk to me, she wouldn’t even look at me, and it was quite clear that we weren’t friends anymore. It was very obvious that she’s Britt’s friend now.”

In reply, Hayter claimed that she’s become a different person after joining AEW and then Britt Baker’s faction. Previously, Storm competed in a singles match on the May 11 episode of AEW Dynamite where Storm got the win.
Toni Storm became the AEW Interim Women’s World Champion by defeating Dr. Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Jamie Hayter at the All Out PPV event. AEW Full Gear 2022 will mark her fourth overall title defense since winning the belt.
Storm has had successful title defenses in a one-on-one capacity against Shida and Serena Deeb. Plus, she also retained in a four-way match against Baker, Athena, and Deeb at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam episode on September 21.
