A Friday Night War will break out, two days from now as WWE Smackdown’s final 30 minutes will go head-to-head against the first 30 minutes of AEW Rampage. All Elite Wrestling is all amped up to beat WWE’s mainstay show in viewership as it leaves the original streaming platform of FOX for FS1. The stakes have been made high for the competition by AEW.
AEW President Tony Khan appeared on WFAN’s Moose and Maggie Show in New York City to announce that there would be a live Buy In this Friday at 9 PM ET on AEW’s YouTube. This means that the YouTube streaming will also go head-to-head with SmackDown ahead of the actual Rampage show, which starts at 10 PM ET on TNT.
Two big matches have been confirmed for the Buy In Rampage streaming where Bobby Fish is set to wrestle Lee Moriarty. Also, on the pre-show Bryan Danielson (fka Daniel Bryan in WWE) is going up against NJPW star Minoru Suzuki. The two have previously met in singles competition one-time in NJPW (2004), as per Khan’s revelation.
