Former WWE Superstar Tay Conti got a title shot at last night’s AEW Revolution 2022 PPV event but she came up short. But more importantly, she was forcefully kissed by her opponent in a move that is being discussed on the internet.
AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill kissed Conti just after the match began. A hyped Conti got into the face of the champion to throw verbal jabs. Jade did say nothing but proceeded to plant a kiss on Conti’s lips ahead of her successful title defense at AEW Revolution 2022 pay-per-view.

As seen in the released video below, Conti was trash-talking the champion when Cargill shocked everybody by kissing her opponent. Conti would reply with a slap to the face after which the back-and-forth match started. Cargill eventually won the match with her Jaded finishing move to retain her title. Conti was unable to live up to her promise to become the new TBS Champion.

AEW Revolution 2022: Both the Women’s Champions retained
After the kissing incident at AEW Revolution 2022, both Cargill and Conti trended on Twitter. Fans also took notice of Cargill’s gear, which was inspired by the Mortal Kombat character Jade. Cargill noted on Twitter to describe Conti’s lips as “soft.” Plus, she also hyped up her 29-0 undefeated streak while Conti hasn’t yet responded to Cargill.
Since after winning the TBS Title, Cargill has now defended her title on five occasions, this year. She defeated Anna Jay, Julia Hart, AQA, and The Bunny before overcoming Conti at AEW Revolution 2022. She won the TBS Title on January 5 in the premiere of AEW Dynamite on TBS.
In more news, AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker debuted a new title belt ahead of her successful title defense against Thunder Rosa at last night’s AEW Revolution 2022 pay-per-view. AEW’s social media handles also shared several close-up shots of the new title design.
Baker then retained her title with the Stomp after outside interference from Jamie Hayter and Rebel to distract Rosa. The original AEW Women’s Title design was introduced on the debut episode of Dynamite, where Riho became the first-ever AEW Women’s World Champion. At present, Baker stands the longest-reigning Women’s Champion in AEW.
