AJ Lee is considered to be a pioneer in the history of the women’s division in WWE. She had spent the shortest time with the company but that was more than enough to leave a great impact which makes fans want her to return. However, that may not be happening, ever as admitted by her in recent times.
AJ Lee arrived at the WWE at a point where the women’s division was extinct and it was replaced by the Divas division. So the women were not given much respect that they deserved. Lee acted as the forefront figure who wanted to change things up for good for the female superstars. For the rightful reasons, she is often given credit for helping WWE jump-start the Women’s Revolution.
Ex WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee Doesn’t Want To Return To In-Ring Action
En route to doing so, AJ Lee dropped the mic on WWE’s Divas division with an infamous pipe-bomb promo. Those lines were directed at the inaugural season’s starcast of WWE Total Divas, all the way back in 2013. That moment apparently was one of her favorite moments in the WWE, too.

Pipe-bomb moment was the favorite one for AJ Lee
Speaking on The Sessions hosted by Renee Paquette (fka Renee Young), AJ Lee mentioned how that Pipe Bombshell is her favorite. She also explained how it was WWE Chairman Vince McMahon who helped her write that promo,
“The Pipe Bombshell, I loved that one. I remember like I got bullet points from Vince, like, that was our thing. He’d give me bullet points and then just trust me. And I remember, I came to the back and he gave me a kiss on the cheek and he said, ‘Great job.’ And then he said don’t pace as much in the beginning, like, be a little more steady on your feet. But I remember we had that kind of relationship where he was very proud of promo stuff.”
Vince McMahon is the chairman of WWE but at the same time, he’s of the most controversial names in the pro wrestling world. So he didn’t back down in blasting her favorite total divas like The Bellas, and Natalya via that promo from AJ Lee. The reality series never came to a halt due to that promo but AJ revealed that the promo eventually caused 6 months of pay-per-view title matches featuring female performers.
