AJ Lee is considered to be a benchmark performer from the WWE Divas division from back in the day. There were only a few handful of names who could have earned the respect of the WWE Universe and critics at a time when the beauty aspect was the priority for the female talents of the company.

Without a doubt, AJ Lee was one of those names who showcased her work ethic in order to become the then longest-reigning WWE Divas Champion. That being said, she does have a tremendous fan following despite being away from competition for a long time. Some of them are keen to see the pioneer back inside the squared circle but that’s not probably happening.

AJ Lee debuted in the WWE via the Season 3 of NXT in late 2010, back when it was used to be hosted in a kayfabe game format. She came in third place behind Naomi and eventual winner Kaitlyn in the first all-women season of NXT. Eventually, all the three women were hired by WWE alongside fellow participants Aksana and Maxine (now Lucha Underground star Catrina).

AJ Lee is obviously the most successful of the three women performers as she’d won three Divas Championships one of which ended being a record-setting 295-day reign. During that title reign, a feud against Kaitlyn was one of the majorly praised programs of her career.
