Professional wrestling legend and a formal two times WWE World Champion AJ Styles who is also a former two times TNA Heavyweight champion of the World recently talked about the feud he wanted to have with Triple H. He also talked about his wish to have another feud with Rey Mysterio.
It had been confirmed earlier by both AJ Styles and Triple H that Styles was pushing really hard for a match against him at WrestleMania 37. But it is quite unfortunate that we could never get to see this match since Triple H did not agree to have this match. He confirmed earlier that he was not physically ready to have such a high voltage match.
AJ Styles Discusses His Wish To Feud With Triple H, Talks Possible Feud With Rey Mysterio
Now it is quite unfortunate that we could never get to see this match happening ever again. Triple H is suffering from a heart condition and he declared his retirement recently. So this will always remain a dream match, and the only way to watch it is to simulate the match in the video games.
Styles also confirmed that he would like to have another feud with former three times WWE World Champion Rey Mysterio. This had been a dream match for ages and the feud actually took place back in 2019 and it was for the WWE United States Championship. This was really a long awaited feud. But it could not deliver the expectations it had.
The duo are still capable of giving five star matches together. So it would be an excellent thing if the duo had another feud between each other and this time we are definitely expecting a five star performance between the two. Of course it is an excellent idea to have another feud between Rey Mysterio and Styles.
AJ Styles who is also a former two times TNA Heavyweight champion of the World recently spoke to WrestleZone where he talked about the feud he wanted to have with Triple H. He also talked about his wish to have another feud with Rey Mysterio. He said;
“It’s hard to say. I mean, who are those guys that when you think back, is it Rey Mysterio? I’ve never really had a long program or anything with him. I’ve wrestled him once or twice but I never had a story with him. But, I don’t know, Edge [is this year]… I’ve tried to get Triple H in the ring but it looks like that’s not gonna happen. We’re running out of these guys who’ve been around longer than me.”
“I picked every guy’s brain that I possibly could because the only way that I can get better is to get as much information and some guys are stingy with it, so you just wanna get a little bit. Taker, Edge is even one of those guys, I’ve picked the brain of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. But if I can just get a little bit of what they know. I wanna be me, I don’t wanna be them. But if I can take little parts of what they know and make myself better, then that’s icing on the cake.”
