For months now, WWE Universe has speculated that a talent like AJ Styles has been underutilized on Monday Night Raw. Being a veteran, he should be there in the main event or rather singles scene. But instead, WWE kept him in a tag team with Omos. It appears that the team could finally be split after a long wait.
WWE usually experiments with upcoming matches and feuds at their untelevised Live Events. During a recently bygone WWE Supershow at the Rio Rancho Events Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Big E defended the WWE Championship against AJ Styles. This might have indicated that a future feud is in-store for Monday Night Raw.

A report from WWFOldSchool hinted that AJ Styles could be moving into the WWE Title picture, once again. Omos will still be staying by his side since WWE Officials feel that the big man is not ready for a singles run. The last time AJ featured in a WWE Title match was back at the TLC PPV event of 2020 where he unsuccessfully challenged Drew McIntyre for the belt.

Omos and AJ Styles could have been split in Draft 2021
On October 21st, at Crown Jewel, Big E successfully defended the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, while AJ Styles teamed up with Omos to face RK-Bro for the RAW Tag Team Titles and came up short. AJ wasn’t seen on Raw accompanying Omos, the next night where Seth Rollins has earned a WWE Championship opportunity to Big E.
A report from WrestleVotes previously informed that WWE officials seriously considered splitting up Omos and AJ Styles during the draft of 2021. A split for the two was reportedly the actual plan for the Draft until “people of power,” including a top RAW Superstar expressed thoughts on how Omos isn’t quite ready for a run on his own. Officials listened, and the decision was made to keep these two as a team.
It’s likely that AJ Styles and Omos would still be functioning as a pair on Monday nights but they might not go after the tag titles after the failure at Crown Jewel. Following the draft, WWE must be having plans for fresh feuds for their top superstars which includes AJ. He is also expected to lock horns with Hall of Famer Edge since he’s also arrived on Raw in the draft.
