WWE Raw star and former five times WWE Women’s champion Alexa Bliss who is also a former two times WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion recently talked about getting inspirations for her Supernatural character that she played throughout last year and dropped recently.
Alexa Bliss started her professional wrestling career back in 2013 in the NXT which was the development territory of WWE. After spending 3 years on the NXT she made her main roster debut in 2016 for the first time. She was brought into the main roster as a member of the newly split Smackdown.

Alexa Bliss Reflects On Getting Inspirations For Her Character
Soon she was elevated to the main event status as she won the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship by defeating Becky Lynch. She remained a consistent main event star in WWE since then. She won the WWE Women’s championship for a total number of 5 times, WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship for two times, and Money in the Bank in 2018.
However, she picked up a different gimmick in late 2020 which was inspired from the three times WWE World Champion Bray Wyatt. It was a challenging gimmick but she played it perfectly. After WrestleMania 37 Bray Wyatt got released from WWE but Alexa kept on playing the gimmick. She continued it for another year before dropping it after WrestleMania 38.

Alexa Bliss who is also a former two times WWE women’s Tag Team Champion recently spoke to Out of Character with Ryan Satin where she talked about getting inspirations for her Supernatural character that she played throughout last year and dropped recently. She said;
“I jumped fully in with the amount of cult documentaries and the amount of different scary movies I would watch. So for me, I wanted to have my character have a bit of an identity crisis. That’s why I kind of reverted to a child mentality, because I know for me personally, to get real real about it, when I had my eating disorders, it was a traumatic thing for me.

“My brain went back to a childlike defense mechanism. I took part of that into my character. I remember thinking like, what did I like watching when I was a child? I liked watching the Big Comfy Couch. So I got the concept of having Lilly from the girl from The Comfy Couch’s doll, Molly.
“I took a lot of things from my childhood that I loved and brought that into the character. Then also I took a part of the movie, ‘The Orphan’, where the girl is like 30 posing as a child, and took that into the character as well. So there were a lot of things about my real interests and real things as a child that I actually brought into the dark Alexa character.”
