WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus qualified for Money in the Bank ladder match this week on Monday Night RAW. This is going to be her first Money in the Bank ladder match. She might have been a legend of WWE but she never got to compete in this structure of match so this year’s Money in the Bank would be epic for such reasons.
Trish Stratus defeated Raquel Rodriguez this week on RAW to qualify for this ladder match. A lot of fans are not happy to see the Hall Of Famer in this match has they believe the opportunity should have been given to some young talent. Raquel Rodriguez would definitely be an amazing fit for this match.

Speaking of Raquel Rodriguez, she recently talked about Trish qualifying for the ladder match and her chances of winning this match. She said that she has never been into this type of women’s wrestling before, therefore she is in a new world. Speaking on WWE‘s The Bump, she said;
On facing Stratus: “When Liv and I faced Trish and Becky for the Women’s Tag Titles after WrestleMania, in that moment, I was like, ‘Whoa, I had been watching Trish since I was a little girl. I looked up to her. I get to step in the ring with her!’ But we didn’t have much interaction in that tag match, so finally getting to have a one-on-one with her [was great]… Getting into the ring with Trish, I realized: I am a beast.”
Raquel Rodriguez Talks Her Recent Match Against Trish Stratus
On Stratus being part of Money in the Bank: “She’s in a new world. It’s not really what she’s used to. This is a whole new women’s division. This is a whole new women’s generation, so I understand if her confidence has faltered a little bit where she feels like she needs to kick it up a notch, whether it’s in a good way or a bad way.”
Rodriguez continued, ‘But I am very happy that she gets to experience her first Money in the Bank, too, because this is a new thing for the women. Having Money in the Banks [and] having Royal Rumbles is all part of the women’s evolution, so it’s great that she gets a little taste of that. We’ll see if she can last with them ladders.”
Becky Lynch is currently involved in a feud with Trish and she accidentally cost Rodriguez opportunity to compete in the MITB. This would be an amazing way to start a new feud between Becky Lynch and Rodriguez. The former NXT Women’s champion turning heel through this feud would be a good idea as well.
